At The Pickled Peach we want the sale to feel like a sweet little boutique, not your average consignment sale. We have a few expectations in place to help make this happen. Your items will go through an inspection at drop off. Please read the following guidelines. These will help ensure your items make it to the floor for purchase. There is a quick video on our Facebook page walking you through the tagging process. Tagging with The Pickled Peach Sale 

• If your items show heavy wash wear, have stains or holes, we will not accept them. It's easy to miss little things here or there. Don't worry, we will have a stain treatment station for those small spots!
• Plan to leave a bin with your consignor number and name at drop off. Your unsold shoes and non clothing items will be sorted back in to this at the end of the sale. You will take your bin back home.
• No large baby equipment at this time. (TBD for future sales)
• 20 book limit. Bring us your BEST hardbacks.
• No bedding or nursery decor. Unfortunately, it just doesn't sell.
• White CARDSTOCK paper only for tags. This keeps them from tearing easily when being shuffled on the racks.  Amazon has the best deal we have found so far! https://a.co/d/aSuBeub   
• All clothing must be tagged with a tagging gun. You can purchase one on Amazon for under $15 and most will come with the barbs. They are harder to find but try to buy the fine point or small needle kind. PLEASE tag on the clothing size tag when possible. The tag at the back of the neck or even the tag in the side seam near the bottom of the garment. Both are ideal BEFORE tagging in the underarm seam. Left arm pit only please. If not tagged correctly, a tagging gun can cause a hole. PLEASE be careful! Absolutely no items tagged with a safety pin will be accepted! 
•  We take boy's and girl's clothing newborn and up. We do accept adult sizes but ONLY if the style is child/teen appropriate. We also have a Mommy and Me section! Matching your little is always a win!
• We take shoes newborn and up. Again, bigger sizes must be child/teen appropriate. We recommend using zip ties to keep shoes together. This is a perfect place to attach tags as well. Please do not bring heavily stained, torn, or worn shoes. If they coordinate well with boutique, and fit our criteria, we will most likely accept them. 
• We will NOT accept any brands from Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Children's Place, Kohls, etc.  NO knock of Crocs or Natives, and no Amazon brand shoes. These brands are so easy to find at any regular consignment. We strive to keep our selection exclusive.
• Please make sure your items have been freshly laundered. Even if you washed them just before packing them away, a quick wash will help them smell fresh and ready to sell.
• All clothing items must be hung on plastic or velvet hangers of the correct size. Smaller clothing on child hangers and larger sizes on adult hangers. NO METAL HANGERS will be accepted. 
• Remember to hang everything with the hook of the hanger facing the left or think of a question mark (??????). If you find yourself running short on hangers, we will have a FEW available at drop off. Please give yourself time to come in and hang them yourself. 
• Walmart seems to have the best deal if you need to purchase kid hangers. We remove all hangers from items when they are purchased. (Unless the customer requests to keep them). You are welcome to recoup some at pick up for your sold items.  
• Pants, Skirts, leggings, etc must be hung on pant/skirt hangers. No pants folded over a hanger! These don't sell and take up more room on the racks. Old Navy and Children's Place usually allow you to take or purchase pant hangers. If you have a significant number of bottoms or outfits, storesupply.com sells plastic pant hangers in bulk. ​You may even be able to go in with another consignor! • When pricing, a good rule of thumb is 30%-40% of retail.
• Think about the brand. Does the company offer sales often? (i.e. GAP or Primary) Is it a brand that is easy to purchase secondhand through social media or resell pages? These are things that factor in how to best price. Gap, Gymboree, Under Armour, Ralph Lauren, etc are some of the lower brands we accept and sell best at 15%-20% of retail, usually even less. Matilda Jane is very popular but now has a saturated market. You are going to sell these best at 40% or less of retail. Items without matches sell for 20% or less. 
• We recommend giving yourself 15-20 minutes at drop off. Any "No Thank You" items will be sent back with you.
• IF you made it this far, and you are thinking NO WAY!, we do offer concierge tagging services! The only thing you have to do is, box up your items and a tagger comes to you for pick up!
• Our Consignors ONLY Facebook page is a great resource for questions as well!  The Pickled Peach Consignors ONLY. You will be asked for your consignor number before being accepted.
• The Tagging Deadline is always 24-48 hours before drop off day. We send emails regularly leading up to drop off regarding this.
